The fourth week of the Central Texas high school football season produced standout performances across the Austin area, with Cedar Park rolling to a 51-0 win over New Braunfels on Sept. 17 at Gupton Stadium.
Cedar Park quarterback David Cooper fueled that victory by completing 16 of 21 passes for 302 yards and six touchdowns. Teammate Olujimi Aluko added 10 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble on defense, while Jonah Johnson caught four passes for 110 yards and two scores.
Anderson quarterback Cove Darbyshire accounted for six total touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Lockhart, throwing for 343 yards and four TDs and rushing for two more. Dripping Springs' Chase Ames went 25-of-30 for 330 yards and five touchdowns in a 62-28 win over Harker Heights, with Frank Accetta adding 157 rushing yards and two TDs on the ground.
Hutto's Micah Antoun threw for 337 yards and four scores in a 53-14 win over Temple, and Weiss won a 40-38 thriller over College Station behind Jaxon Schad's 396 passing yards and five touchdown passes.
Other honored performers included East View's Jayvion Clayter, who ran for 280 yards and three TDs in a 34-24 win over Austin High, and Regents' Jack Devine, who totaled 395 yards and five touchdowns in a 62-38 victory over Bellaire Episcopal.
