Christian McCaffrey reached a pair of milestones in San Francisco's victory over Miami on Sunday. His two rushing touchdowns brought him to 100 for his career, with exactly half of those coming in a 49ers uniform.
Only two players before him had reached 50 touchdowns with a pair of separate NFL clubs. Marshall Faulk found the end zone 85 times for the Rams after 51 scores with the Colts, while Randy Moss hauled in 93 touchdowns for the Vikings to go with 50 as a Patriot.
There is an unusual pattern to McCaffrey's production with the 49ers and Panthers: 32 rushing and 18 receiving touchdowns with each club. His 36 career touchdown catches match Faulk's total, the highest ever for a running back, and one more grab for a score would give him that record outright.
