Ex-Michigan State WR Tyrell Henry Earns Nation's Top PFF Grade at Position

Former Spartan Tyrell Henry caught 14 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown in Wisconsin's win over Eastern Michigan, earning the highest PFF grade among wide receivers in Week 3.

Former Michigan State wide receiver Tyrell Henry delivered the best game of his career on Saturday, helping Wisconsin rout Eastern Michigan. He caught 14 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown, both career-high marks for receptions and receiving yards.

Pro Football Focus graded Henry at 92.9 for the week, the highest mark of any wide receiver in the country for Week 3 of the college football season.

Henry spent two seasons at Michigan State from 2023 to 2024, totaling 24 receptions for 195 yards and three touchdowns across 23 games. He then transferred to Wisconsin, where he was used sparingly in his first two seasons, managing just six catches for 41 yards and a score.

His role has grown considerably this year. Through Wisconsin's first three games, Henry already has 22 receptions for 293 yards and one touchdown.

Michigan State travels to Wisconsin next week, giving the Spartans a firsthand look at their former receiver, who has emerged as a key part of the Badgers' offense.
