Ole Miss added a major piece to its 2028 recruiting class on Monday, landing a commitment from four-star safety Giovanni Tuggle. The Winder-Barrow High School (Georgia) standout is rated the No. 4 safety in his class.
Tuggle, listed at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, held interest from a long list of programs, including Ohio State, Clemson, Texas and Nebraska. He announced his decision to join the Rebels, per a report from Rivals' Steve Wiltfong.
The pledge is the second for Ole Miss in three days and comes shortly after the Rebels' top-ten victory over LSU. It also marks the fourth commitment in Ole Miss's 2028 class.
According to On3, Ole Miss currently holds the No. 2-ranked class in the nation for 2028, trailing only Ohio State. First-year head coach Pete Golding and his staff continue to build toward the program's future.
