Herbert, 28, went 15 of 27 through the air for one touchdown and two interceptions, and he was sacked three times. Las Vegas quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is a decade older than Herbert, threw an interception and absorbed two sacks but averaged 8.7 yards per attempt to Herbert's 7.1.
Across 13 offensive possessions, Los Angeles managed only two extended touchdown drives and never advanced beyond 30 yards on any other series.
