Speaking about Cristiano Ronaldo, Nacho praised the Portuguese forward's longevity. "What Cristiano is doing is from another planet," he said, adding that competing at such a high level at his age was remarkable.
Nacho also reflected on his own departure, saying it could not have ended better. He left as captain after a season that included La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup and a Champions League title, with his final appearance coming in the Champions League final.
On Jose Mourinho's return to the club, Nacho said he was not surprised by the appointment after two difficult years. "He is a winner and knows how to get teams back on track," he said.
