Oregon will be without wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan for Saturday's road game against No. 12 USC after he broke his foot in pregame warmups.
Oregon wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan is out indefinitely after breaking his foot, head coach Dan Lanning announced. The injury occurred during warmups before the Ducks' game against Portland State, and McClellan did not play in that contest.
McClellan, a third-year receiver who had taken on a bigger role in the offense this season, opened the year with a strong performance against Boise State, catching six passes for 150 yards and a touchdown. He added one reception for 20 yards the following week against Oklahoma State.
His absence removes a target for quarterback Dante Moore and increases the workload for receivers Evan Stewart and Dakorien Moore.
No. 20 Oregon, which is 0-1 in Big Ten play after losing to Oklahoma State, travels to face unbeaten No. 12 USC on Saturday night. The Ducks are coming off an 84-0 win over Portland State.
