A win over Atlanta on Thursday night would give Green Bay its 14th straight home opener victory, breaking a tie with the Miami Dolphins.
The Green Bay Packers host the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football in Week 3, with a share of NFL history at stake. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. CT at Lambeau Field.
A Green Bay win would extend the franchise's home opener winning streak to 14 games and break the current mark of 13, which the Packers share with the Miami Dolphins teams of 1976-88. Green Bay has not lost a home opener since dropping its Week 1 game to the San Francisco 49ers to open the 2012 season.
According to Next Gen Stats, every other NFL team has lost at least three home openers during the Packers' current run. The 2026 home schedule includes five primetime home games, which would be a team record.
Thursday's game is the only home contest for Green Bay in the season's first four weeks. Matt LaFleur's squad travels to Tampa Bay next week. The Falcons, who fell to Carolina in their own home opener on Sunday, come to Green Bay on a short week; the two franchises have never met on a Thursday.
