President Donald Trump is set to attend Saturday's college football game between Texas and Tennessee in Knoxville, the White House confirmed to The Athletic on Wednesday.
The matchup at Neyland Stadium features the No. 1-ranked Longhorns, who beat Ohio State in mid-September, against No. 14 Tennessee. Trump attended Fordham before transferring to Penn, so he has no direct tie to either school.
The visit adds to a list of sporting appearances by the president, including the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, the NBA Finals, and the College Football national championship game. A day after the game, he is expected at the Presidents Cup in Chicago, where he will serve as honorary chairman after accepting an invitation in August.
Fan receptions at his past appearances have varied. He was booed at Game 3 of the NBA Finals, which the Knicks lost 115-111 to San Antonio, while a 2025 Commanders-Lions game drew a more mixed response.
