Ravens sign WR Shedrick Jackson to practice squad

Baltimore brought in the former Raiders receiver and Auburn product as receiver depth ahead of Week 3 against Dallas.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Shedrick Jackson to their practice squad, the team announced Monday. The move adds another developmental wideout to the roster as the club gets set to face the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil in Week 3.

Jackson, the great-nephew of Bo Jackson, broke into the league in 2023 as an undrafted free agent signing of the Cincinnati Bengals. After roughly two seasons in Cincinnati, he landed on the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad in December 2024. He suited up five times for the Raiders in 2025 and hauled in four catches on five targets for 56 yards, including his first career reception, which went for a touchdown against the Denver Broncos.

The 6-foot-1, 198-pound pass catcher played five collegiate seasons at Auburn, appearing in 53 games and totaling 66 catches for 874 yards and a score. His most productive year came in 2021, when he posted 40 receptions for 527 yards and a touchdown. At Auburn's pro day, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.25 seconds.

Jackson is expected to serve as depth on the practice squad and give the Ravens' defense a look in practice, with his special-teams background potentially helping him earn a promotion later. The signing comes as Baltimore navigates receiver uncertainty, with Zay Flowers dealing with a hamstring injury and Ja'Kobi Lane on injured reserve.
