Red Bull Racing has signed Isack Hadjar to a new deal keeping him with Max Verstappen through the 2027 Formula 1 season.
Red Bull Racing has announced a contract extension for Isack Hadjar that keeps him with the team through the 2027 Formula 1 season. The 21-year-old will continue to partner four-time World Champion Max Verstappen.
Hadjar, in his second full F1 season, was promoted from Red Bull's junior squad Racing Bulls late in the 2025 campaign, taking the seat of Yuki Tsunoda. Since stepping up, he has recorded consistent points finishes.
A wrist injury suffered during the summer break forced Hadjar to sit out the last three Grands Prix. He is set to return to action at this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Hadjar said he was excited to continue with the team and credited the support of Team Principal Laurent Mekies and the staff at the factory in Milton Keynes for helping him repay the faith shown in him.
Mekies said Hadjar had been superb on and off track since joining, adding that the extension reflected how much the team believes in him and that everyone is looking forward to seeing him back on track.
