Taj Bradley closed his season with six strong innings and 200 strikeouts, and the Twins held off a ninth-inning rally to beat San Francisco.
Taj Bradley wrapped up his season with a milestone outing at Oracle Park, striking out Drew Gilbert early to reach 200 strikeouts for the year. He became the 10th pitcher in Minnesota Twins history to hit that mark in a season, the first since Pablo Lopez in 2023. Bradley finished with six innings of one-run ball, allowing three hits and three walks while fanning six.
Trailing 1-0 entering the sixth, the Twins rallied. Ryan Kreidler singled with one out, and Luke Keaschall followed with an RBI triple into left-center. Brooks Lee then singled home Keaschall to put Minnesota ahead 2-1. Walker Jenkins added a solo home run to right in the seventh, his fourth of the year and third on the road trip.
Jeff Hoffman came on in the ninth seeking his first save as a Twin and ran into trouble. He walked Brett Harris, hit Andrew Knizner with a pitch, and issued another walk to Osleivis Basabe to load the bases after a sacrifice bunt. Jonah Cox lined a ball off Brooks Lee's glove at third; Lee recovered to record an out at third as a run scored.
Hoffman ended it by striking out Victor Bericoto on a 3-2 slider, sealing a 3-2 Twins win.
