Four Players Shortlisted for September Player of the Month Vote

A club has opened voting for its September Player of the Month award, naming Bartosz Mazurek, Dominik Schmid, Nikolas Veratschnig and Haris Tabakovic as the four nominees.
Mazurek, a 19-year-old Polish midfielder, scored in the cup tie against St. Pölten, set up two goals against Rapid and another versus Sturm Graz, and helped build the winning goal against Levski Sofia. Fans chose him as Man of the Match in the away UEFA Europa League victory.
Schmid, a Swiss left-sided player, went unbeaten in one-on-one defensive situations across the month and contributed in attack, including involvement in the winning goal in Sofia and an assist against Sturm Graz.
Veratschnig, an Austrian international, was officially appointed captain during the month. He scored against both Rapid and Sturm Graz and played the full 90 minutes in every match except the cup game, in which he logged 56 minutes.
Tabakovic, who won the award for the previous month, continued his scoring run. The Bosnian forward netted the winner in the UEFA Europa League opener in Sofia, scored in the cup match against St. Pölten, and added a brace against Rapid.
