Dallas (1-2) visits winless Houston (0-3) at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET on FOX with a stream on NFL+.
The fourth Sunday of the 2026 NFL season includes an in-state Texas matchup, with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium. The interconference game between an NFC East visitor and an AFC South host kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, and FOX holds the national broadcast. For both clubs, it is the fourth game of the year.
Neither team brings a winning record into the afternoon. Dallas stands at 1-2 after three games, while Houston remains winless at 0-3. The Cowboys own the only victory between the clubs so far. A Dallas win would move the club to 2-2 and a defeat would leave it 1-3, while a Houston victory would put the Texans at 1-2.
For viewers outside traditional cable, the league provides a direct streaming route. NFL+ carries the game live at the same 1 p.m. ET kickoff as the television feed, and the service's app is available through both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Week 4 actually begins outside the United States. At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Washington Commanders meet the Indianapolis Colts on NFL Network at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, the league's international-series game and the only contest on Sunday's schedule before noon Eastern.
The 1 p.m. ET window then divides between two networks. CBS carries four games, Jacksonville at Cincinnati, Tennessee at Baltimore, New England at Buffalo, and Arizona at the New York Giants, with Paramount+ providing the network's streaming coverage. Cincinnati, Baltimore, Buffalo and the Giants are the home sides in that group. The Patriots and Bills meet in an AFC East pairing.
FOX's early block also holds four contests, topped by the meeting in Houston. The New York Jets play at Chicago, the Los Angeles Rams visit Philadelphia, and Green Bay plays at Tampa Bay. Counting the Houston game, eight games across the two networks begin at the same 1 p.m. ET hour.
Four broadcasts fill the afternoon. Miami and Minnesota occupy the 4:05 p.m. ET slot on FOX, and three more games begin at 4:25 p.m. ET: Kansas City at Las Vegas and the Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle on CBS, with Denver at San Francisco on FOX. The two networks split those late windows two apiece.
Sunday Night Football sends Detroit to Carolina for an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC, with Peacock streaming the broadcast. Monday Night Football closes the week on Oct. 5, when Atlanta goes to New Orleans for an 8:15 p.m. ET game on ESPN Unlimited, the last contest of Week 4. Cleveland opened the week on Thursday, Oct. 1, by beating Pittsburgh 27-24.
Global Sportscast's own schedule shows the same window. The Cowboys and Texans meet at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4, with kickoff at 1 p.m. EDT and FOX carrying the broadcast.
