The 1-2 Dallas Cowboys visit the 0-3 Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4, with FOX airing the game nationally at 1 p.m. ET.
The 2026 NFL season moves into Week 4 on Sunday, Oct. 4, when the Dallas Cowboys travel to Reliant Stadium to face the Houston Texans. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET, with FOX carrying the game to a national television audience as one of eight early-window kickoffs.
Both teams enter the weekend with losing records. Dallas sits at 1-2 through three weeks of the 2026 campaign, while Houston is 0-3 and still chasing its first victory. The matchup pairs the league's two Texas clubs. A Texans win would get the home side on the board, while a Cowboys victory would lift Dallas back to even at 2-2.
Fans who prefer streaming have a direct option as well. The matchup will be available on NFL+ starting at 1 p.m. ET, the same time as the television broadcast. The NFL+ app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or through Google Play.
Sunday's football actually begins overseas. The Washington Commanders meet the Indianapolis Colts at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network in an NFL international game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. It is the only game on the Week 4 schedule being played outside the United States.
The main early window follows at 1 p.m. ET with eight simultaneous kickoffs. FOX's slate, beyond the game in Houston, includes the New York Jets at the Chicago Bears, the Los Angeles Rams at the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
CBS handles the rest of the window with four games of its own: the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Cincinnati Bengals, the Tennessee Titans at the Baltimore Ravens, the New England Patriots at the Buffalo Bills and the Arizona Cardinals at the New York Giants. CBS games on the Sunday schedule also stream on Paramount+.
The afternoon opens with a single 4:05 p.m. ET game on FOX, the Miami Dolphins at the Minnesota Vikings. The 4:25 p.m. ET slot then features three matchups: the Kansas City Chiefs at the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers at the Seattle Seahawks on CBS, plus the Denver Broncos at the San Francisco 49ers on FOX.
Prime time rounds out Sunday with one game. The Detroit Lions visit the Carolina Panthers at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC, with the contest also streaming on Peacock. Week 4 then concludes the following night, Monday, Oct. 5, when the Atlanta Falcons travel to the New Orleans Saints for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN Unlimited.
One Week 4 result is already in the books. The Cleveland Browns opened the week on Thursday, Oct. 1, with a 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Every other game on the Week 4 slate remains to be played.
