Peoria-Area Boys Soccer Regionals Set for 2026 IHSA Postseason

Class 1A and 2A regional brackets for Peoria-area teams run Oct. 17-24, with semifinals Oct. 19-21 and championship games Oct. 23-24 at ten sites.
The 2026 Illinois High School Association boys soccer state tournament bracket is set for Peoria-area schools. Regional pairings and schedules published by the Journal Star cover ten Class 1A and Class 2A sites across central and north-central Illinois, with semifinal rounds Oct. 19-21 and championship games Oct. 23-24. The dates and times of several opening-round play-in games remain to be announced.
Two Class 1A regionals feature top seeds waiting on play-in results. At Fisher, No. 9 Farmer City-Blue Ridge visits No. 8 Illinois Valley Central, and the survivor meets top-seeded host Fisher on Monday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m., after which No. 4 Bloomington Cornerstone Christian plays No. 6 Manual at 6 p.m.; that final is Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. At Rock Island Alleman, No. 9 Port Byron Riverdale travels to No. 8 Abingdon-Avon, with the winner drawing the top-seeded hosts Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m., and No. 4 Canton follows against No. 6 Quincy Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m.; that title match is Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.
At Kewanee, the play-in between No. 10 Macomb and No. 7 Monmouth-Roseville still needs a date. No. 2 Illini Bluffs will meet that winner Monday, Oct. 19 at 4:30 p.m., and No. 3 Beardstown takes on fifth-seeded host Kewanee at 6:30 p.m. The championship game is Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
Peoria Christian's regional will be played at EastSide Centre in East Peoria. After a play-in between No. 10 Olympia and No. 7 Normal Calvary that has yet to be scheduled, No. 2 Roanoke-Benson/Eureka faces the winner Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m. Third-seeded Bloomington Central Catholic meets No. 5 Peoria Christian at 6:30 p.m. that evening, and the final is set for Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
The Somonauk regional kicks off earliest, with No. 10 Earlville at No. 8 St. Bede on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. No. 11 Sandwich plays at No. 6 DePue on a date to be announced. On Tuesday, Oct. 20, No. 2 Shabbona Indian Creek meets the Earlville-St. Bede winner at 4:30 p.m. and host No. 3 Somonauk faces the Sandwich-DePue winner at 6:30 p.m. The title game is Friday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Byron hosts its regional as the No. 7 seed and opens against No. 9 Princeton in a play-in awaiting a date. Top-seeded Mendota plays that winner Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m., with No. 4 Oregon against No. 5 Serena to follow at 6:30 p.m. The final is Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.
In Class 2A, Peoria Notre Dame carries the No. 1 seed into the Orion Regional. No. 9 Ottawa visits No. 8 Orion in a play-in still to be scheduled, and the winner meets Peoria Notre Dame on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. No. 4 LaSalle-Peru faces No. 5 Streator at 7 p.m. that night, with the final Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.
The Dunlap and Bloomington regionals begin directly with semifinals Tuesday, Oct. 20. At Dunlap, the second-seeded hosts meet No. 7 Galesburg at 4 p.m. before No. 3 Richwoods takes on No. 6 Geneseo at 6 p.m. At Bloomington, No. 2 Normal West plays No. 7 Pekin at 5 p.m. and No. 3 Normal U-High meets No. 6 Bloomington at 7 p.m., with both finals Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.
The Metamora regional starts with No. 9 East Peoria at No. 8 Limestone on a to-be-determined date. Top-seeded Washington meets that winner Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m., and No. 4 Morton faces fifth-seeded host Metamora at 7 p.m. The championship match is Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
