San Francisco signed defensive lineman Naquan Jones, put C.J. West on IR, and shuffled its practice squad on Wednesday.
The San Francisco 49ers announced a series of roster moves Wednesday, signing defensive lineman Naquan Jones and placing defensive lineman C.J. West on injured reserve.
Jones, 28, joins the 49ers after a stint on the Vikings' practice squad. He spent the offseason program and training camp with the Texans and appeared in 12 games last season between the Chargers and Houston, recording 13 total tackles.
West had started each of San Francisco's first two games this season and recorded five total tackles before landing on injured reserve.
The team also signed receiver Brandin Cooks and defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. to the practice squad, while releasing cornerback Jakob Robinson from the practice squad.
