The latest Roll Bama Roll blogpoll after Week 3 of the 2026 college football season places Miami at No. 1, followed by Georgia, Texas, Ohio State and Ole Miss. Notre Dame, Indiana and Alabama complete the top eight.
Miami's position rests heavily on the play of quarterback Darian Mensah and wide receiver Malachi Toney, who the voters call perhaps the top pass-catch duo in the country. The Hurricanes were tested more than expected by Wake Forest on September 18 but have yet to face a high-profile opponent.
Ohio State remains highly rated despite losing to Texas, a result the poll treats as the strongest single win by any team this season. Other notable resume wins cited include Oklahoma State over Oregon, Kentucky over Texas A&M, Ole Miss over LSU and Michigan over Oklahoma.
