The Eagles jumped ahead early behind milestones from two players. Andrew St. Dennis scored his first varsity goal in the 6th minute, and Jayden Bojo added his first varsity goal about 12 minutes later. Phoenix Kelley made it 3-0 shortly afterward.
The Wild Huskies fought back. Camden Lamphear converted a penalty kick before halftime and finished with two goals, while Bentley Lamphear also scored in the second half as the visitors pulled within 4-3. DuBray answered around both of those goals to seal the 5-3 result.
Beekmantown outshot Schroon Lake/Newcomb 20-10. Goalkeeper Sand made seven saves for the Eagles, while Cutting recorded 12 for the Wild Huskies.
