Rockville Boys Soccer Edges East Granby 3-1 in Overtime

Jose Estrada scored twice and Rockville struck twice in overtime to beat East Granby in Connecticut high school boys soccer on Tuesday.

Rockville's boys soccer team needed extra time to get past East Granby, scoring twice in overtime for a 3-1 win on Tuesday afternoon. Jose Estrada led the way with two goals, and Landon Spanillo added the other. Kayden Mable recorded three saves in goal for Rockville.

East Granby stayed in the match behind a 19-save performance from goalkeeper Patrick Baran, but the defense could not hold off Rockville in the extra session.

In girls volleyball, Maloney rallied past Darien in a five-set thriller, winning 3-2. The set scores were 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 25-19 and 15-13.

Tessa Holmes fueled the Maloney attack with 35 assists, while Greta Koscuk delivered a dominant all-around performance with 20 kills and 10 digs in the victory.
