Liverpool have been linked with a move for Feyenoord right back Givairo Read, according to a Yahoo Sports report. The 20-year-old Dutchman has started the season strongly in the Eredivisie, recording five assists.
Read's form at Feyenoord has drawn attention from several of Europe's biggest clubs, with Arsenal also mentioned as suitors. Feyenoord are reportedly seeking a fee of around 33 million euros for the young defender.
The reported interest comes as Liverpool continue to adjust following Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure last summer. Jeremie Frimpong was brought in as a replacement, while Ronald Araujo is currently filling in at right back on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
A move for Read would raise questions about Liverpool's depth at the position, with Frimpong, Araujo and Conor Bradley all currently in the squad.
