Manchester United recorded a net loss of £43m for the fiscal year that closed on 30 June 2026, the club's seventh annual deficit in a row, according to figures published Wednesday.
Costs tied to signing players and to the dismissal of manager Ruben Amorim earlier in the year were cited as factors driving the shortfall.
The result came in a year when revenue climbed to £677.6m, a record for the club, and the organization said it expects income to rise again.
The figures arrive despite aggressive measures from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the British billionaire who holds a minority stake and oversees football operations, aimed at returning the club to profit, among them staff reductions and higher ticket prices.
