Northwestern Pair, Morningside's Bouska Earn GPAC Volleyball Weekly Honors

The Great Plains Athletic Conference, with presenting sponsor Hauff Mid-America Sports, has announced its volleyball players of the week for matches played September 14-20, 2026. Two Northwestern College players and one from Morningside University received the honors.
Northwestern senior outside hitter Stella Winterfeld, from Sioux Center, Iowa, was named Attacker of the Week after leading the Raiders to a 3-0 week that included victories against two ranked opponents. She averaged 5.11 kills per set, recording 20 kills against Viterbo and 25 against Dakota Wesleyan, and added four aces and seven blocks.
Teammate Nyah Potthoff, a sophomore setter from Gretna, Nebraska, earned Setter of the Week. She averaged 11.90 assists per set, including 42 assists in a four-set win over No. 24 Viterbo and 39 in a sweep of No. 12 Dakota Wesleyan. Potthoff also contributed four aces, 25 digs, and four blocks.
Morningside's Victoria Bouska, a senior middle blocker from Plainfield, Illinois, was recognized as Defender of the Week. She averaged 1.4 blocks per set in the Mustangs' conference win over Dordt and chipped in 10 kills.
