Unbeaten Panpayak Faces Lamnamoonlek in Flyweight Kickboxing Main Event

Seven-time Muay Thai World Champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon will defend his unbeaten promotional kickboxing record when he faces fellow Thai Lamnamoonlek Torfunfarm in the flyweight main event of The Inner Circle 32 on Friday, September 25. The card streams for members at live.onefc.com.

Panpayak, 30, is 4-0 in kickboxing under the ONE banner, with wins over Othman Rhouni and Anuar Cisneros during his current run. He told onefc.com that returning to kickboxing restored his confidence and that he wants to keep the streak alive as long as possible.

Lamnamoonlek, a WMC World Champion, has won three times on ONE Championship's weekly series and has also adjusted well to the kickboxing ruleset. Both men are technical southpaws who previously won Thailand's Fighter of the Year award, and Panpayak described the matchup as a kick-heavy chess match that could come down to tempo control.

With reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek sidelined by a leg injury, an interim title opportunity may open up. Panpayak said a win over Lamnamoonlek would put him near the front of the line for a shot at the belt.
