Smith pointed to the team's talent on both offense and defense. He noted quarterback Matthew Stafford is the reigning league MVP and highlighted the wide receiver duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, along with running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.
With Nacua sidelined, Adams delivered a huge performance, catching eight passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Smith also credited the return of Aaron Donald, saying the defense raises its level when he is on the field.
