Before tipoff, the Sparks and the arena crowd recognized forward Nneka Ogwumike, who was honored for her upcoming retirement. She waved to fans and, after leaving the court for the final time in Las Vegas, embraced Aces head coach Becky Hammon.
Among the on-court moments, Aces center A'ja Wilson connected on a three-pointer in the third quarter, and guard Dana Evans made a three in the second. Guard Jackie Young assisted forward/center Brianna Turner with a no-look pass in the third quarter.
