The Baltimore Ravens signed wide receiver Shedrick Jackson, previously of the Las Vegas Raiders, to their practice squad on Tuesday. The addition comes as the team deals with several injuries at the position before its Week 3 game. Jackson, a 6-foot-1 product of Auburn, broke into the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and spent the last two years with the Raiders, where he played on both offense and special teams.
Zay Flowers has been nursing a hamstring problem that kept him sidelined for Sunday's defeat against the New Orleans Saints. The injury followed a 150-yard performance in the season opener. In other setbacks, Ja'Kobi Lane went on injured reserve after surgery for a fractured wrist, and Chris Moore was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, opening the spot Jackson now occupies.
Flowers, described as day-to-day, has been a fixture of the offense since Baltimore chose him 22nd overall in the 2023 draft. His rookie year brought franchise rookie records of 77 catches and 858 yards, followed by 1,000-plus yards in 2024 and a personal-best 86 receptions for 1,211 yards last season. This offseason he agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension with $108 million guaranteed.
