The Tennessee Titans and New York Giants filed their injury reports Thursday, Sept. 24, two days ahead of their Week 3 matchup, and both backfields drew attention. Titans running back Tyjae Spears missed a second consecutive practice with an ankle injury, while Tony Pollard, also listed with an ankle issue, was limited after sitting out Wednesday's session.
Tennessee had several other concerns. Tight end Daniel Bellinger did not practice because of an illness, and defensive lineman Solomon Thomas (knee) was held out after working on a limited basis the previous day. Cornerback Micah Robinson (groin) was a new addition to the report as a limited participant, joining corner Cor'Dale Flott (quad), who was limited for the second day in a row. Fernando Carmona Jr., Marcus Harris and James Williams Sr. were full participants.
New York's list was headlined by pass rusher Brian Burns (ankle), who has yet to practice this week. Offensive tackle Andrew Thomas (groin) also sat out after being limited Wednesday, and quarterback Jaxson Dart (knee) did not practice.
There was better news at wide receiver, where Malik Nabers (shoulder) was a full participant after a limited session the day before. Defensive backs Tae Banks (calf) and Tyler Nubin (calf) were limited, as was defensive lineman Shelby Harris (toe). Jermaine Eluemunor, Nic Jones, Francis Mauigoa, Micah McFadden and Greg Newsome II all practiced in full.
Final injury designations, including game status for the weekend, are expected before the Titans and Giants kick off.
